Vibrant’s new Adjustable Timing Belt Tensioners are bound to become a must-have for all B-series and H22 powered racers. This product was designed and developed by our factory race team and tested in competition on the Vibrant/ETD All-Motor Drag CRX. They are designed to reduce timing belt slack to allow for more accurate valve timing, thereby improving power. They also serve to minimize the risk of cam gear “skipping”, making it ideal for race engines using heavy duty valve springs. They are also completely adjustable (both vertically and horizontally). Best of all, they are easy to install because they bolt up directly to the stock Honda block (requires the removal or relocation of the Honda OE power steering pump). They are CNC machined from T6061 Billet Aluminum, making them lightweight yet very durable. The pulleys feature a special coating to prevent premature wear and tear due to friction from the timing belt. |
