Vibrant Performance 321 Stainless Steel 180 Degree Mandrel Bends are engineered for demanding exhaust applications exposed to prolonged elevated temperatures. Compared with 304 stainless steel, 321 stainless steel provides improved performance at temperatures from 800°F to 1500°F (427°C to 816°C), making it well suited for high-temperature and forced induction applications. The 180° mandrel bend provides a smooth, consistent U-shaped bend for custom exhaust fabrication while maintaining the tubing's internal diameter through the bend. 321 stainless steel also offers excellent corrosion resistance and improved resistance to tensile stress and stress-related cracking compared with 304 stainless steel.
